Information for coaches on Access NI [vetting process].

The Club welcomes any new coaches who are interested in getting involved in coaching our underage players. In the GAA any coaches for underage teams must adhere to a vetting process through Access NI. Hopefully, you will find this a helpful guide on the process. All other coaches must have a current Access NI Certificate and updated coaching certificate.

There are three other essentials which our children’s coaches must have.

1. Our coaches must also complete a Safeguarding 1 Course which is organised on a regular basis within the County, including our Club if possible.

2. Coaches must complete an ‘Introduction to Coaching Gaelic Games’ or ICGG course. This is a basic coaching course to support coaches working with children.

3. All coaches must be members of the Club.

Any other information required or any queries please contact me Gerard Lenehan CO or any coach for support.
